Children’s Aid mans the week-long event and is always in need of volunteers to help set up and even walk clients around as they “shop” for the right gifts for their children.Ĭhristmas Toy Connection Applications are NOW available for 2021! County are inviting the community to take part in giveaways for free toys and boxes of food.

During the months before Christmas, Children’s Aid gives boxes out to local businesses and they collect toys for us at drop off locations. The fact that searches for ‘virtual Christmas party’ were almost 3 times higher in August 2020 than in December 2019 speaks volumes about how quickly the world has changed recently. For this program, Children’s Aid collects toys though donations and Social Services handles the application and scheduling process. Working in partnership with the Charles County Department of Social Services, the program assists approximately 2,000 children with Christmas toys and gifts. County are inviting the community to take part in giveaways for free toys and boxes of food. Children’s Aid Society headlines one of the largest Christmas programs in Charles County.
